Iīve mentioned it before: Iīm a sucker for good communities.

When we first met I thought Twitter was a silly idea. A web service for sharing 140 characters of "what-are-you-doing-now". Would be good for what? If I had money to place in web 2.0 stocks I would never dare to guess that "microblogging" was worth considering as part of the near netsocial future. At the second try I found it real charming. Itīs small, it doesnīt attend to conquer the world (even though it might?), itīs quick, practical and keeps a connection among friends who are too old or too busy to chat on IMs...

The Twitter site design is pretty lousy in itself so go get a good looking (and well working) client as Twitterific or something PC-compatible.

Then feel free to add me.

Oh. And while youīre at it, watch twittervision.com...

Hehe. Itīs sort of funny. I know the Threadless gang has had a lot of problems with these t-shirt pirates and Iīve got the impression that they donīt find it amusing at all. My Threadless shirt has been around on ebay for a while, now itīs coming to a cheap street-seller near you. I understand that Threadless find it annoying that they canīt charge you $15++ for it. Anyway the Threadless shirts are the best quality in the world so if you got any good taste at all you will buy it from them...

BTW: I handed in this new illustration yesterday. Comment on my Flickr page. Thanks.
My flickr page also features my sons new card game project. Heīs a great and inspiring artist.

I went and bought a 30 GB video-ipod this autumn. I used to think that I didnīt need one of those since I have almost no spare time at all but the truth is I use it ALOT. Ofcourse itīs nice to have music wherever you go but the videofunction is really underrated! I read somewhere that surveys shows that nobody really uses the videofunction. I do! If youīre a TV-series-addict like me you can watch the last (bunch of) episodes whenever and wherever you have the time. I also love the podcasts, following radioshows and news/fanstuff when Iīm working or washing the house.

Finally, tip of the day: If youīre looking for a new tv-series to get hooked on you should try out Jericho from CBS. Itīs good.

Flickr is my new portfolio now. I canīt keep the old one updated. And I can really get used to the great community for artists/illustrators over there at Flickr. Too bad then that the Flickr admin people has banned me for posting most doodles and drawings and not enough photos. Well Iīm not fully banned (I pay for that shit!) but my images wont get listed by tags or in any listings. I guess they prefer their users posting endless partyreports, flowers and pictures of kids eating and/or playing with water. Too bad really. Flickr doesnīt know what theyīve got. Or they doesnīt fully appreciate their user culture/subculture. If I had to guess, Iīd say it has something to do with the Google Map/Earth coop. I understand that my doodles may be irrelevant on a world map. They could easily work themself around that with a special "illustration" tag or something. Now they ban illustrators from all tag features.

Anyway. We still love it.

At the end of this summer Iīve spent some night hours (totally around 12 hours I think) on an free online adventure MUD (Multiple User Dungeon) called Discworld Mud. Itīs a classic Mud based on Terry Pratchets books from The Discworld, I played there at some time in the 90s long before the huge online RPGs like World Of Warcraft, Anarchy Online etc came along. I was happy to see that itīs still alive and I even found that itīs still great fun to play around with. To start off, hereīs a few helpful links:
